Client: Courtyard by Marriot 

Springfield, Oregon

LandCurrent  redesigned the courtyard and the parking landscape areas of the Marriot motel in Springfield Oregon. The design process started with a maintenance analysis. As a result, the design creatively accommodates a maintenance program with limited financial and technical resources. The landscape crew is accustomed to shearing plants into cubic forms This helped spawn a playful landscape of green boxes. This landscape of rectangles is complemented with square concrete paving stones and cube lights. Other landscape materials do not require skillful pruning. LandCurrent convinced management to have the trees pruned by a licensed arborist.
