LandCurrent worked with Nir Pearlson Architect on a housing project for the Housing and Community Services Agency of Lane County (HACSA). The goal of this project was to provide low income families with small single family homes, each with their own front and back yard. In addition the design team proposed a street court and optional gates between private yards to encourage a neighborly atmosphere. An alley was proposed to connect to adjacent neighborhoods and promote walking and biking.Site analysis revealed a lack of use of the nearby park and the design team proposed to enhance the park with a nature play area and community gardens.
